Just For You by Des O'Connor was released in 1979 and contains "20 Special Songs" specially recorded for Warwick Records. O'Connor himself produced the album and the blurb on the back cover says the album "perfectly reflects his ability to enhance beautiful songs with his own warm personality, charm and supreme professionalism."[1]

The album features songs made famous by the likes of Alan Price ("Just for You")[2], Dean Martin ("Everybody Loves Somebody")[3], John Williams ("Cavatina")[4], the Commodores ("Three Times a Lady")[5], Bread ("Lost Without Your Love")[6], Tom Jones ("Green Green Grass of Home")[7], Barry Manilow ("I Write the Songs")[8], and Billy Joel ("Just the Way You Are")[9].

Sadly, most of the songs are missing from Spotify.

The album entered the UK Albums Chart w/e February 2, 1980 at #46 for an initial run of six weeks. It peaked at #17 w/e February 16, 1980. It would return w/e March 22, 1980 at #43 for one further week.[10]
