Australian pop band
New World was an Australian pop band formed in 1965. They are best known for their 1971 hit single, "Tom-Tom Turnaround". Most of their biggest successes were written by Nicky Chinn and Mike Chapman (The Sweet, Suzi Quatro, Mud, Racey, Smokie, among others).[1]
