The Flying Lizards
Experimental English new wave band
The Flying Lizards were an experimental English new wave band, formed in 1976. They are best known for their eccentric cover version of "Money" featuring Deborah Evans-Stickland on lead vocals, which reached the record charts in 1979.[1]
They released eight singles in the UK between 1978 and 1984 but "Money and "TV" were their only hits in 1979 and 1980, respectively.[2][3]
