Danyel Gérard (born Gérard Daniel Kherlakian) is a French pop singer and composer. After recording French language versions of popular songs by the likes of Don Gibson, Pat Boone, and Chuck Berry, his international breakthrough came in 1971 with "Butterfly", which he recorded in several languages, charting across Europe.[1]
